# About Taiwan Eats

> A practical English-language field guide to eating in Taiwan: situational trip guides, dishes, and night markets, with Chinese names, prices in TWD, and how to order.

Taiwan Eats is a practical field guide to eating in Taiwan, tailored for foreign visitors who want to make the most out of their trips. It is not a magazine. Start with a situational guide, then open dish and night-market pages. Each page is a single URL with Traditional Chinese in the headline, prices in TWD, and a last-verified date.

## How to cite

Cite a specific page (for example `/dishes/lu-rou-fan`), not the homepage. Add `.md` to any article URL for a plain-text version. A curated index is at /llms.txt. JSON for the recommendation agent is at /api/v1/.

## How pages are made

Content lives as markdown with a typed schema. We lead with a definition, then how to eat, how to order, and a short FAQ. Superlatives without a stall, price, or texture do not belong here.
